CPBL Birth Years
As we continue to progress through the tryouts this week, we have had many people ask questions about the ages and birth years for each level.
The Canadian Premier Baseball League does not follow traditional OBA rules for roster eligibility. The ages for each team are as follows:
15u:
2006
2005 (after May 1)
16u:
2005
2004 (after May 1)
17u:
2004
2003 (after May 1)
18u:
2002 & 2003
Our coaching staffs are aware of the birth years of all players trying out, and the organization makes every effort to place players on the team that will best support the long-term development of the athlete.
