Organizational May Wrap-Up
Submitted By Windsor Selects on Wed 06 01, 22
As the calendar flips to June, we are going to take a quick look back at the first month of the season in the Canadian Premier Baseball League.

The 15u Selects stumbled out of the gates on opening weekend, but have since rallied and close out the month with an 8-3-1 record.

The 16u Selects have navigated a very tough May schedule, and close out the month at 8-9.

The 17u Selects have been the victims of some poor weather, missing out on some games due to Mother Nature, but they closed out May with a record of 7-4.

The 18u Selects have also had to deal with the elements, including an entire weekend getting washed out. As they head to June, their record stands at 5-7.

Overall for the organization, our record stands at 28-23-1.

We began handing out some weekly acknowledgements, in the form of Pitchers and Players of the week this season, and here are our winners for the month of May.

Hitters of the week:
Sam Shephard (17u)
Brysen Vernon (18u)
Kohan Merritt (15u)
Jack Marcotte (18u)

Pitchers of the week:
Richard Shaw (15u)
Carson Tehan (17u)
Jack Tiessen (16u)
Griffin Howell (17u)

Bring on the warmer weather and sunshine filled weekends!
